Quote of the Day

Allah (swt) “…made your sleep [a means for] rest, And made the night as clothing, And made the day for livelihood” (78:9-11).

  1. Islaam is so natural and Allah has created the system of the world to facilitate man's object of recognising and worshipping Allah.
The day He has made bright for man to seek the fadhl of Allah and the night dark to rest for part of it and wake up to offer prayers in the latter portion.
Today man is going against this with 24hrs open businesses and night shifts and sleeping in the day. This all affects man's performance in worship.
The times for sleeping is immediately after Esha and get more hours sleep before midnight than after. Then to get up and offer tahajjud and fajr and to be in the rememberence of Allah till sunrise. The next light sleep is after mid day called Qailula, sunnah of Rasoolullah s.a.w. That's mans sleep for the day. To sleep immediately after fajr, between asr and maghrib and between maghrib and Esha is not advisable and has physical harms too.
